The colorful broken chairs seemed to have come out from the school as trash. They were just outside the side door of PS 3 (Lower Manhattan), at the curb along with other trash.
An artist, no doubt, might have seen beauty even in the heap of trash. All he or she needed was to put his or her artistic touch here and there and lo' there was this beautiful installation beckoning passersby to gawk at it, walk around it or take photos if they happen to walk down Groove St. that day with their camera handy.
